CCV Recirculating Kit for 2011+ Ford 6.7L Powerstroke

SPELAB's CCV system recirculating kit is engineered to replace the factory ccv box on all 2011-2025 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engines. Crafted from anodized aluminum alloy, this kit installs directly into the OEM location, requiring no modifications and maintaining the factory drain-back path.

Key Features

High-Flow Filtration

Features a dual-layer stainless steel mesh designed to filter crankcase vapors while supporting engine outputs about 900 hp—significantly higher than the stock 400 hp.

3-Baffle Internal Design

Three internal baffles force oil vapor through the filtration system, reducing oil saturation in the intercooler and intake tract compared to the factory setup.

Easy Maintenance

Only the center bolt needs to be removed to access the top-mounted filter screen for cleaning—no disassembly required. This is the first cleanable CCV system for the 6.7L Powerstroke.

Built-In Oil Drain Channels

Exclusive internal channels guide condensed oil back to the sump, preventing re-ingestion and improving separation efficiency vs. competitors’ designs.

Complete & Secure Kit

Includes all necessary hardware, silicone hoses, and stainless steel clamps. Compatible with the optional IS08391 catch can for extended oil containment.

Environmental & Performance Benefits

Unlike vent-to-atmosphere kits, this recirculating design returns clean air to the intake, eliminating odor and reducing emissions while protecting engine components.

Note: May have minor interference with the fuel filter housing on some 2016 F-350 models. Verify clearance before final installation.

    ---tab FAQ---

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does a CCV recirculating kit do on a 6.7 Powerstroke?

A: A CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) recirculating kit filters oil vapor from the engine crankcase and routes cleaned air back into the intake system. On the 6.7L Powerstroke, this helps reduce oil buildup in the intercooler and intake piping, maintains proper crankcase pressure, and supports long-term engine reliability—especially on higher-mileage or modified trucks.

Q: How is a recirculating CCV system different from a vent-to-atmosphere setup?

A: A recirculating CCV system returns filtered crankcase vapors to the intake, while vent-to-atmosphere systems release vapors externally. Recirculating designs help minimize odors, reduce environmental impact, and maintain a closed-loop system similar to factory operation. This makes them better suited for daily-driven trucks that prioritize cleanliness, compliance, and consistent performance.

Q: Does this CCV recirculating kit require tuning or ECU changes?

A: No, this CCV recirculating kit does not require any ECU tuning or software changes. It installs in the factory CCV location and maintains the original drain-back and airflow path, allowing it to function seamlessly with stock or tuned engines without triggering warning lights or drivability issues.

Q: How often should the CCV filter be cleaned or serviced?

A: Service intervals depend on driving conditions, engine wear, and power output. For most 6.7 Powerstroke trucks, inspecting the filter every 10,000–15,000 miles is recommended. High-mileage engines, heavy towing, or performance builds may benefit from more frequent inspections to ensure optimal filtration and airflow.

Q: Is this CCV kit compatible with performance upgrades and delete setups?

A: Yes. This CCV recirculating kit is designed to support increased crankcase vapor flow commonly seen in higher-horsepower engines, towing applications, and trucks equipped with performance modifications. It integrates cleanly with most intake and exhaust configurations while maintaining effective oil separation and crankcase ventilation.
