5" Downpipe Back Dual 2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke DPF Delete Race Pipe |SPELAB
---tab Description---
Engineered for serious off-road and competition use, this 2011-2019 6.7L Powerstroke dual turbo-back system eliminates restrictive factory componentsâincluding the catalytic converter and DPF filterâto deliver maximum exhaust flow, reduced backpressure, and optimized engine performance. The mandrel-bent 5" stainless steel piping ensures smooth, unrestricted airflow from the turbo outlet all the way to the tailpipe, dramatically lowering exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) while improving throttle response and turbo spool-up.
Specification
| Exhaust Material | T-409 Stainless Steel, it is magnetic. |
| Thickness | 2mm thick for long-lasting durability and heat resistance. |
| Inlet Diameter | Â 5.0ââ |
| mandrel-bent construction | Maximum flow efficiency, helping your diesel breathe easier |
Â
Benefits
Expect to see a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is plugged up your probably averaging about 13-14 mpg. More or less depending on the severity of the restriction. After deleting the DPF/CAT expect to get a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg.
- It removes the need to service the DPF at regular intervals (cleaning, replacement)
- A DPF delete will remove the possibility of a DPF failure which could cause expensive diesel repairs
- Due to less exhaust backpressure, the DPF delete increases exhaust flow and therefore increases the performance of your motor!
- Paired with an ECU remap, the DPF delete is proven to increase power and torque for all vehicles
Installation
Install takes about 1hr with basic hand tools done on the ground of your driveway or garage. Quicker if you have automotive style lift. Cutting may be be required to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. Clamps, hangers and hardware are included. You may have to re-use some factory hardware.
Tuner Required:Â Removal of the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC involves removing and eliminating emission related sensors. A DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from setting.
---tab Fitment---
- 2011-2019 Ford F250 F350 F450 F550 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel
- * IMPORTANT NOTE: These kits will only fit models equipped with the OEM style 4-bolt flange off the turbo direct pipe!
- Note: These parts are for use on non-registered race vehicles on closed-course competition events *Installing or using this part on any emission-controlled vehicle ("street" or "off-road") may violate federal and/or state emissions laws and regulations.

---tab FAQ---
What is the DPF and is it worth doing a DPF Delete?
Diesel vehicles manufactured after 2007 are typically fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to manage emissions. Nonetheless, this component comes with some disadvantages, including the need for frequent maintenance and repairs. When the DPF becomes clogged, it causes increased backpressure, which greatly hinders and slows down fuel flow. By removing the filter, fuel can flow more freely and rapidly, leading to improved overall fuel efficiency.
FAQ
Q1. Whatâs the difference between dual and single 5'' turbo back?
A1: The 5" Turbo Back Duals utilize dual exhaust paths to optimize exhaust scavenging, delivering superior flow for high-HP builds (500+) and deeper exhaust tone - while the 5" Turbo Back Single offers a more compact single-pipe solution focused on cost efficiency and easier installation for moderate performance gains.
Q2. Will a magnet stick to this pipe? Is it really stainless steel?
Yes â This pipe uses T-409 stainless steel, which is still magnetic (unlike T-304). It offers excellent corrosion resistance while being more affordable than T-304.
Q3. How thick is the pipe? Will it last?
2mm thick T-409 stainless steel â Durable enough for long-term use without excessive weight.
Q4. Will this improve performance?
- Yes! Benefits include:
- Lower EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperatures)
- Faster turbo spool
- Better fuel efficiency (with proper tuning)
- No more DPF clogging issues
Q5. Is this street legal?
â Off-Road Use Only â DPF removal is illegal for on-road vehicles in most regions. For competition/racing use only.
